Motorola is coming out with the next step of their Milestone smartphone, called the Motorola Milestone 2. It is nearly the same as the last model, but has some important differences. Read on to find out the new changes that make this smartphone a superphone.
The new Motorola Milestone 2 is known as the Droid 2 if you are not in the Queen´s Land. If you are, you are going to be treated to one of the best smartphones in recent memory. The first Motorola Milestone had a 600 megahertz processor, this one is nearly double that at 1000 megahertz. It comes in the same black color as the last model. The folks at Motorola must make these just for business people. Otherwise, the size is 116.3 millimeters tall by 13.7 millimeters thick. That is a regular size for most smartphones including those that have a slide out keyboard like the Motorola Milestone 2.
Looking at the strong points of this smartphone, the camera would have to be the first thing to notice. It is five megapixels and comes with dual LED flash, auto focus, and the ability to record high definition video. Like the HTC Evo, this smartphone is hooked to the gills with a great graphic ability. The level of high definition is 720p at thirty frames per
second for the Motorola Milestone 2.
This super smartphone comes with an operating system that is fast and full featured. It is the Android Froyo platform. This supports flash, tethering, hotspot feature and lots of speed. The hotspot feature makes the Motorola Milestone 2 a Wi-Fi hotspot for other devices. It is very easy to set up and allows the user to send a Wi-Fi signal to their computer or whatever will accept the signal. Android has around 120,000 applications available for download. There is no problem finding what you need. This system supports the total remote deletion of your personal information from the smartphone should it be lost or stolen.
The Motorola Milestone 2 is well connected, wirelessly speaking. It supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth but not WiMaX. Wi-Fi has the special DLNA feature that allows you to hook up the Motorola Milestone 2 to a television or other media device in your home. The web browser connects to the web and supports multi touch magnification of web pages. GPS is included for things like tracking and maps. The voice connections are over the GSM and HSDPA networks. There is no radio.
There may not be a radio, but there is a music player and a 3.5 millimeter head phone jack. The music player is full featured and supports four different file formats, including MP3. The list of things included on the Motorola Milestone 2 for convenience is long but expected. Youtube, Google talk, Facebook, twitter and more are all included. Java is included for playing or downloading games.
The keyboard on this Motorola Milestone 2 has had the D-Pad removed to provide more room for the other buttons. Otherwise, the keyboard remains unchanged from the last model. No prices have yet been quoted on this impressive smartphone, but the price of the last model settled around £385 pounds. Look for this smartphone to be released before the end of the year.

My wife sent me a brand new Motorola phone with camera. My kids said that it was the latest. Since I have my old trusty Nokia cell phone, I gave it to my son who really wanted it. Thanks for the informative post. God bless you all always.
