The wireless connections are a plus on the Samsung Eternity II. It has stereo bluetooth, data tethering, flight mode, high speed data and a web browser. There is no Wi-Fi or WiMaX. For wired connections there is a USB connector. The high speed data connection uses HSPA 7.2 ( High Speed Packet Access ). The memory capabilities of this handset are multiplied by the MicrSD card slot. You can install a 32 gigabyte card in the Eternity II and store weeks of information. The Eternity II also has GPS direction-finding.

The Samsung Eternity II is not a smartphone but does support television services. MediaFlo live TV is a feature that provides three levels of entertainment. The most expensive is around thirty dollars and provides the ritzy Sony channel. AT&T provides a social service on the Eternity II that integrates the social networking sites Facebook, Twitter and Myspace.

The Samsung Eternity II is not an ugly looking handset. The demo model has a nice looking two tone blue and black layout. The back of the cell phone has a bumpy but formed texture to it that help you hold on to the phone. It is tastefully laid out. The camera is a two megapixel unit that does not feature flash. It is also on the back. There is no secondary camera. The camera also supports video at the QVGA quality level.

Yes, the Samsung Eternity II has games ! Java is the language of the mobile world and provides this cell phone with the ability to play Java games. The battery is a 1000 mAh unit that provides around five hours of talk time.

AT&T is putting the Samsung Eternity II on sale today. Look for a low price of under twenty dollars with a new contract.
