Apple fans are going to love the news today. They are winning even more in popularity. Not only that, they are making Apple a very rich company. Discover more on the Apple victory here in this snappy article.

In a mobile world where some companies are spreading themselves out over perhaps hundreds of different models, Apple is getting ahead with just one; the iPhone.

The iPhone has even been limited to just one carrier ever since its release. This did not prevent it from beating out Research In Motion and their Blackberry smartphones.

With all the restrictions, it would seem a company would not be popular internationally either. But therein may be the secret. The Japanese love the iPhone, and so do the Chinese.

The little country of Japan is seemingly addicted to all things electronic and mobile. In just this country, Apple has sixty percent of the smartphone market. Remember, this is with just one smartphone. Nokia sells the most smartphones in the world, but Apple does not have to tool up for the stacks of different shapes and sizes that Nokia requires. This simplicity of “doing one thing well” has made the Apple company sail above its competitors.

The other news is that Apple has also become the new “King Of Technology”. They officially bypassed Microsoft as late as last May. Back then Apple had a market capitalization worth $223 billion dollars. Microsoft is the largest software company in the world. Apple on the other hand, again, makes their software in-house and manufactures popular hardware to use it with. Once again, Apple is taking the “Keep It Simple Stupid” method to beat out its competitors.

What has Apple been doing recently to gain all these victories ? For one, the internet rumor station is reporting that Apple is collaborating with Microsoft against Google. The “King of Search”, Google, is not that welcome on the iPhones of the world. Microsoft has its own search engine, Bing, that may turn up to be better than Google’s. Even if it is not, it should be good enough to be on an iPhone or iPad. If Bing rather than Google turned up on many smartphones, many people would be just as happy, since the results are close enough.

The rundown on who is ruling in the mobile realm goes like this; Nokia, Samsung, LG Electronics, Apple and Research In Motion ( Blackberry ). Samsung is bringing in a close second to Nokia. They make awesome phones and create them for just about any section of the market. But only one of those makes just one model of smartphone; Apple. This information was provided by IDC Worldwide, a market analysis and research firm. They specialize in information technology, among other things.

Looking to the near future, those same powerful internet rumor mills are saying that Apple is expanding. They are supposed to be selling their iPhones on the Verizon network soon. AT&T has been the sole cell carrier to offer the iPhone in recent history. This change is needed, since the major beef an iPhone user has is that they are limited to just one carrier. Freedom is coming soon to the iPhone and iPad both. IPads are already officially announced to be selling with Verizon. Look for Apple to grow even more next year.
